This award reflects our dedication to sustainability and innovative practices, which have been a cornerstone of our operations since we were founded in 1979. 

Our commitment to the circular economy is deeply rooted in our operational ethos. We use 100% recycled paper to manufacture high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions. 1. Transforming Waste into Value

Every year, we recycle approximately 2,500 tons of paper, saving up to 42,500 trees annually. This significant achievement underscores our role in reducing the reliance on virgin materials, thereby conserving forests and promoting biodiversity. The process of recycling paper uses less energy and water, saving about 26 cubic meters of water and 4,000 kWh of electricity per ton of paper recycled. These efforts exemplify our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing the sustainability of our production processes.

2. Minimizing Waste and Pollution

Our production processes are meticulously designed to minimize waste and pollution. We operate a closed water system that recycles water continually while ensuring that even defective products are recycled on-site. Furthermore, about 30% of our electricity needs are met through photovoltaic panels, highlighting our dedication to adopting renewable energy sources.

A Practical Approach to Circular Economy

The circular economy is not just a concept for us at Heracles Packaging; it is a lived reality. By giving new life to paper that has already served its initial purpose, we extend the lifecycle of this material. The fibers in the paper can be recycled 4-6 times before they lose their structural integrity, demonstrating the durability and sustainability of recycled paper as a raw material.

Our innovative paper molding technology is a key to our production. This technology not only conserves resources but also supports natural ecosystem restoration. Unlike synthetic materials like plastic, which can take centuries to decompose, paper is inherently biodegradable. This characteristic ensures that our products contribute positively to the environment beyond their practical lifecycle.
