Molded fiber’s ability to absorb excess moisture, without altering its shape, and its permeability to CO2, keeps products fresh and extends their shelf-life. The very high temperatures applied during the manufacturing process of the EcoBox, create a packaging that is clean and hygienic, a packaging that prevents contamination, avoids food spoilage during storage and transit and minimizes food waste.

At the same time, EcoBox is a cost effective solution. Its’ stackable design minimizes storage and transportation costs. Carefully placed spacers on the EcoBox allow for easy separation of the pieces, making EcoBox the ideal choice for automated high speed denesting equipment and packing lines.

Different sealing possibilities to find the right fit
To secure your products in the EcoBox you can: seal its’ top by adjusting a lidding film on its’ specially designed wide rim, overwrap the whole punnet using a stretch or a flow pack film or simply use a printed board sleeve to fit around it. Our trays are compatible with all materials, from simple plastic films and nets to more eco-friendly solutions like heat sealing biodegradable films and biodegradable nets for a 100% sustainable solution.

Optimally display your produce to the end customer using our EcoBox, a packaging solution with an exterior texture that is soft to the touch and a smooth inner texture that offers a premium feeling. They are easy to open and (with the appropriate film) reclose by the consumer.
EcoBox design is adapted to the fast-purchasing pace of modern customers and facilitates in-store merchandising of your products. The specially designed central flat area at the bottom of the EcoBox leaves room for further personalization. Use this area for distinctive branding and additional communication with your customers by debossing a message or logo.
